As Google Chromebook are continually creating a space for itself in the market which is based on Google Cloud. As it is leading in education market due to less expensive to the alternative available in the market like the Apple IPad, It is also making it's part in the U.S. Consumer Market.
As the Analyst Gartner has put the forecast that Google OS Net-books/Laptop that there would be an increase of Chromebook Sale by 27% with an 7.3 million purchases in 2015.
In last August the analyst had suggested that the Chromebook Would be remain a specific market for the upcoming 5 years at that time the forecast was 5.2 Million in sale in 2014 but this was considered as underestimation but the latest report claim that there is 5.7 million of the device which were purchased last year.
As Gartner has reported that the worldwide shipment of laptop is almost 72 million unit In the first quarter of the year(as Gartner has not included Chromebook In the PC figure).
Education sector has become the primary source of the buyer of the Chromebook as 72 percent were the total sales according to Gartner data. In this the major thing to notice is that the in different regions schooling sector is purchasing, As EMEA is having the largest proportion of the regional sales going to the education sector.
As last year the google have expanded the Google Play for Educational application. They bought the ebook store in the android tablet till there Chromebooks, so google is working for major education sector.
As The Gartner say that google is also seeing some success with the Chromebook in the U.S. Market .Considering as the third regional sale in U.S. ,As the analyst have noticed that Google Continue to Struggle With its brand awareness with non-U.S. Customer/Consumer.
As on the Business customer Chromebook adoption is still remain slow, As google is trying increase in targeting segment with its Google Chrome Book for work ,office usability and application improvement such as making more and more application and different service available Offline.
The Gartner believe that the google focus of the market would pay off after a whil
e this chrome book would become a "valid Device Choice" for the business, Enterprise wanting low cost and easy to manage option hardware.
Google is focusing to play long game with its Chromebook ,which was introduced in the market all the way back in 2011.As the schools user would get graduate to employees till this time .As The education exposure would help to make growth at the enterprise adoption.
From regional look the large amount (84 %) of 2014 Chromebook sale were sold to North Americas the EMEA regions is the next largest market for the google chrome book representing of 11% of total in 2014 .While in Asia/Pacific is having 3% of the Chromebook market share, the demand coming from the new Zealand japan and Australia.
